Support. Convenience. Dedication. Respect.
For decades, Franklin County Residential Services (FCRS) has been providing valuable programs and services to help families of children and adults with developmental disabilities.
From assisting with funds for home modifications or special equipment, to providing safe, comfortable places for children and adults to stay for short periods of time, FCRS has become a trusted resource to hundreds of families throughout our community.
How we help:
Family Support Funding is available by the State of Ohio to assist families who have a family member with developmental disabilities at home. This funding is administered quarterly through FCRS and can be utilized for services and equipment that includes adaptive equipment, special diets, home modifications, and family-selected providers and counselors.
FCRS provides both in-home and out-of-home respite services to families and caregivers of adults and children with developmental disabilities in Franklin County.
Emergency Care Services
During times of transition, FCRS’ Emergency Care Program provides a short-term housing solution for adult individuals with developmental disabilities.
This popular FCRS program offers care and supervision for children and adults with developmental disabilities before and/or after work or school. Participants in this program attend school or work programs operated by the Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
